Tropical Sundays | The Chapter & Verse Bar
Fraternisers of the coast who enjoy getting spruced up for soirées a little more dapper than the average: sit up in your chair and listen. The waterside Chapter & Verse Bar and lounge in The Marriott Resort is housing the freshest tropical house and pop sounds spun by local DJ’s. Smoky tastes of an outdoor barbeque are complimented with an array of signature and old fashion cocktails with a modern twist. Hot Tip: Try the Lavender, Watermelon & Gin Martini or Blood Orange take on an Aperol Spritz. Starts each Sunday at 2pm.
Stand Up Paddle Girl Workshop | Currumbin
As part of the Girl Active Program there’s a Stand Up Paddleboard Workshop going down this Saturday morning, April 9th. First timers are welcome as the group spends the morning paddling down the Currumbin Lake from 9am. Cost is $10, RSVP by calling Gold Coast Stand Up Paddleboard on 07 5525 7003.
Up Late at The Oracle Boulevard | Broadbeach
The Oracle Boulevard in Broadbeach will be shut down and lit up every Thursday evening to boast a collection of music, food and drink. 2 Years and Counting | Commonwealth Games
This week marks two years to go until our glorious city hosts the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Beachfront venue Oskars On Burleigh hosted a launch luncheon and took the snap above from their countdown clock. It’s an electrifying time for the GC, we can’t wait to see the area blossom with the arrival of the games.

The Fish Emporium Revamp
Isle of Capri’s fresh seafood kitchen, The Fish Emporium has reopened and it’s gleaming with a relaxed yet sophisticated new interior. Backing onto one of the Surfers Paradises best skyline views, the menu now focuses on a premium oyster and champagne bar feel. Open 6 days.
STAMP | Youth Arts Initiative
STAMP is an interactive new initiative for young people on the Gold Coast, running from April 7th to 16th. Comprised of performances, talks, workshops, films, exhibitions, markets & live music, the program aims to catapult under 25’s into the local arts scene.
